Valley Center, California

Welcome home! The 300+ ft concrete driveway leads to your new home. The gates open on a fenced area of almost two acres.  Total property is 2.72 acres - plenty of room for your horses. This long driveway is great for bike riding and skateboarding. Notice the basketball hoop up by the house. The parking area is big enough to allow for half court games, with automatic lighting that keeps you playing into the night.  There's RV parking alongside the garage, with a convenient electric outlet.

Day or night you can enjoy the 28 ft diameter swimming pool in total privacy. Solar panels on the patio overhead keep the pool as warm as you like. The 300 SF Trex decking is splinter and maintenance free, and it stays cool even on a hot summer day. Deck railing is Trex, too, with rust resistant powder-coated panels. The pool gate is latched with spring hinges, so children don't go in unattended.

The Pauma Valley and Pala Mountain draw your eye from the pool deck, patio, kitchen, family room & master bedroom. On a clear day you can see the snow covered San Bernadino Mountains in the distance.

The Pauma Heights enjoy mild afternoon breezes in the summer, which keep the property cooler than many parts of Valley Center. Although you can button up the house and turn on the central air conditioning on exceptionally hot days, the vast majority of the time you just open up the house and it stays comfortably cool.

Living in San Diego means living outside, and this covered patio adds almost 1000 SF to your living area. Whether you're snoozing in the hammock or dining with friends al fresco you will enjoy your time outside as much as inside.

If a little music is in order, you can hook your stereo to the speakers on the patio. The trees you see in the background of this picture are your Hass avocado trees. A little over an acre is planted in bearing avocados (80+ trees). All the groves are fully irrigated; as are all planted areas on the property.

There are also over 50 orange trees, most are delicious Valencias; the tastiest juicing oranges.

What family home would be complete without a sand box, including a climbing structure and log cabin? The orange trees provide shade at any time of the day, and afternoon breezes make this one of the most comfortable spots on the property.

If you don't need a sandbox, a little topsoil turned into this area would be perfect for growing shade loving herbs & veggies. It is located next to a large fenced garden area, complete with hose bibs.

This long shot, taken from a trail on the ridge west of the property, shows the approximate boundaries of the parcel. 2.72 acres in all, the property slopes down into a draw with a seasonal creek. Oak trees in the creek bed give way to the avocado grove on the right.

The cloud covered peak to the left is Mt. Palomar, famous for its nighttime views. For another kind of star gazing, Harrah's casino is in the canyon over the top of the ridge behind the house, less than 10 minutes from your door.
