The Pauma Heights enjoy mild afternoon breezes in the summer, which keep the property cooler than many parts of Valley Center. This long shot, taken from a trail on the ridge west of the property, shows the approximate boundaries of the parcel. 2.72 acres in all, the property slopes down into a draw with a seasonal creek. Oak trees in the creek bed give way to the avocado grove on the right.

The cloud covered peak to the left is Mt. Palomar, famous for its nighttime views. For another kind of star gazing, Harrah's casino is in the canyon over the top of the ridge behind the house, less than 10 minutes from your door.
